Do Not Make Me the Leader …

Do not make me the leader. Isaiah 3:7

Lord, I cannot lead – I can only follow you. Help me today to stay close to your heels. Though the path that leads to life is narrow and few find it, you have promised to never leave me. Remain close today.

They parade their sin like Sodom; they do not hide it. Isaiah 3:9

Lord, we are a proud people. We flaunt our sin and defy your laws. Please forgive our sin. Turn us back towards you.

The righteous will enjoy the fruit of their deeds. Isaiah 3:10

You promise that the righteous will enjoy the fruit of their deeds. Bless me. Make me holy through the blood of your Son. May you turn me from iniquity into your arms.

Please help Lorraine and her husband make decisions based on your Will, not theirs.

The power steering on Judy’s car went out. She needs help with the repairs so she can drive to the grocery store.

Jacqueline desperately needs of a job. She is disabled and can only work from home. She has a fully functional home office with everything . . . except work and an employer. She was a Paralegal for 25+ years. She would love to glorify you through her work at home.

Anita suffers from depression. She is disabled and trying to keep her and her family fed, clothed and sheltered. Her car doesn’t run, and her mom will have back surgery next month. Please care and comfort Anita and her family. Lift the cloud pressing down upon her.

God Made the Earth By His Power …

My Father, through your Son you made all things. By your wisdom you made, the world, the heavens, and everything thing with breath in it. Today, make me into the image of our Son.

Go outside and stand. The presence of the Lord is about to pass by. I Kings 19:11

May you help me to remain in your presence. May I see the evidence of your footsteps in the circumstances and conversations of today. You are the creator of all things. Create for me a new idea today — a new way to market and sell our books.

The Redeemer, the Lord Almighty …

Rescue me from temptation. Keep me from sin. Keep me from pain. Help me to be gentle and kind. Give me your peace as I bring my daily needs before you.

Lord, move in the hearts of those who are in charge of Michelle’s case. Grant her full disability and release payments to her family. Or … heal her so she can return to work full time to help provide for her family. Please provide for her family’s daily needs.

Please comfort and care for Pat, Charlie, John & Abby, Cindy and Ernie, Susan T. and Susan P. Help the doctors to figure out what’s wrong with Emily.

Bless ALL our LPC books. Give me one new idea today. Help me to grow the sales of our books.

If those who do not deserve to drink the cup must drink it, why should Edom go unpunished? ~ Jeremiah 49:12

Prepare me for the time when I must drink from the cup of your wrath. Give me your strength and stamina. Give me your Spirit. May your strong hand be with me. Bless me with your protection and provision.

Lord, please help Betty’s daughter and son-in-law. Bless Carlene’s family with salvation, safety, health, and provision. Care and comfort for Ray and Bonnie. Their hearts hurt. Please take care and comfort Bruce. He faces a tough choice regarding cancer treatment options. Teresa needs $1232 for a mission trip. Give Teresa and her husband their daily bread, your presence, and guidance.

We … Are Being … Transformed

We … are being … transformed with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. ~ II Corinthians 3:18

Father, turn me from an ordinary man into an extraordinary servant. Change me into the likeness of Christ. Remove all curses upon my family and me. As I pour myself out in service for you, may I become more like your Son.

A curse on him who is lazy in doing the Lord’s work. ~ Jeremiah 48:10

Father, give me your strength and stamina, today. May I execute the tasks before me with eager enthusiasm. Bless my hands; bless my work. May you give me one new idea today for ways to grow the sales of our books.

Lord, please give Margaret the strength to quit smoking. Take away the desire. Turn her addiction into adoration for you and your righteousness.

Please bless and protect Teri. Give her good health in 2017. Protect her and allow her to stay home with her autistic son.

Care and comfort Pat. May her surgery go well and her husband’s MRI be clear.

Lord, please give Wendy peace and relief from her shoulder surgery.

Why Settle For Less?

Pray that the Lord your God will tell us where we should go and what we should do.~Jeremiah 42:3

Father, please guide my steps and thoughts today.

Whether it is favorable or unfavorable, we will obey the Lord our God. ~ Jeremiah 42:6

Help me to obey your commands and instructions — no matter where they lead.

If you do as I say, I will build you up and not tear you down. I will plant you and not uproot you. Do not be afraid. I am with you. I will save you and deliver you. I will show compassion on you. I will restore you. But … all who are determined to go and settle … not one of them will survive or escape disaster.~Jeremiah 42: 10-12 & 17

Father, help me to settle for your best, regardless of how hard the circumstances may be. Build me up.

Blessed is the man … who delights in the law of the Lord. Whatever he does, prospers. Psalms 1: 1&3

Lord, I claim the promise of this blessing and ask that you lead me to your definition of prosperous.

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord – whose confidence is in him. He never fails to bear fruit. Jeremiah 17: 7&8

Help me to bear fruit for you today!

Lord, Teresa was diagnosed in Oct, 2016 with 2 types (DCIS and HER2) of breast cancer. She is now undergoing radiation treatments. She lost her husband to cancer in May of 2015. She was a stay at home mom when her husband passed away and does not have a job. I ask that she may complete her cancer treatments and for you to provide the funds necessary for her to pay the hospital bills.

Brenda needs good health, much love and laughter. Please bring Yourself back into her life.Brenda feels like you have forgotten her. Help her to find peace.

Sherrie needs Medicaid to approve the medication she needs. Otherwise, her fatal disease may be too much for her.
