They Quarreled and Grumbled …

Lord, I need your help. I need elders – wise individuals who can serve on LPC’s advisory board. I need to expand our staff. I need your leadership. Please send me a Joshua! Someone uniquely suited to be a conquerer and a future leader for LPC. An aid to me and someone loyal and faithful to you.

Lord, may your Spirit speak to you on my behalf.

In all things God works for the good of those who love him – who have been called according to his purpose. ~ Romans 8:28

Please, Father, show me a better way to run this company and serve you in this calling.

  1. Authors fresh from the Rejection Land tend to be complainers. Feeling like the lowest branch on the publisher’s book vine we produce our share of “sour grapes.” It does sound as though you’re weary of the “word wilderness” stretching out before you. I’m no Joshua, but like Caleb of old, I believe you can conquer the “promised land” if you get enough authors to believe … and to produce some really good grapes. May you find what / who it is you are looking for.

  2. God will most surely answer this humble, fervent plea. And that right soon. Praying in agreement with you, Eddie, and standing on the promise of Isaiah 65:24 “And it shall come to pass, before they call, I will answer and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.”
