Eddie Jones basketball playerLooking for Eddie Jones, the former NBA player who played for five teams in his 14-year career?  I am not that Eddie Jones. I did play ball for years and would still be be shooting hoops had I not torn my ACL and pulled a hamstring. David Fajgenbaum, my doctor and the orthopaedic surgeon for N. C. State’s football team from 1989-2009, suggested I stop. “Take up walking or swimming, Eddie.” I took up both but I still miss playing basketball. 🙁

I drove him to the hospital when the other team broke his nose. Watching players snap Phil’s nose back in place was all the rugby I needed to see to know it wasn’t for me.

I did enjoy Seabiscuit and A League of Their Own and I have been known to cut up on stage. Sometimes I make people laugh. Sometimes my books make people laugh. "The Caribbean Chronicles" is a humorous time-travel pirate fantasy adventure series. The third book, "The End of Calico Jack," won first place in the Selah awards for Young Adult literature. Book four, "No Good Stede Goes Unpunished" is a finalist for the Selah awards for Young Adult literature.

The Caden Chronicles middle grade series is wholesome, humorous reading with a flair for unexpected adventure. The series has a spooky but spiritual message based on real "monsters" (sort of) found in Scripture. Hints at werewolves, ghosts, mediums, vampires, walking dead, mummies, demons, witches, and phantoms are all mentioned in the Bible. But are they real? Nick Caden doesn't think so. In each episode he sets out to prove who the real killer is.
